Danica Patrick has been making history since she first stepped onto the track.

In 2005 – her rookie season in the IZOD IndyCar® Series – she became the first woman to lead the Indianapolis 500® race. Patrick went on to finish first in the 2008 Japan 300, making her the only woman driver to ever win an IndyCar® race. A year later, she finished the season in 3rd place – the highest IndyCar finish ever for a woman driver.

Lucky for us, Patrick shows no signs of letting up. Splitting her time between IndyCar and NASCAR® in 2011, she finished 4th in the 2011 NASCAR Nationwide Series race at Las Vegas. This is the highest–finishing position for a female driver in NASCAR national series history.

Dedicating herself exclusively to NASCAR in 2012, she took the Pole for the season-opening Nationwide Series race at Daytona. Patrick went on to capture four top–10 finishes, ending the season 10th in the NASCAR Nationwide Series championship standings.

In 2013, Patrick will race full–time in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series with Stewart–Haas Racing.

Widely credited with bringing new interest and fans to open–wheel racing, Danica's fame off the track rivals her exploits on the track. Whether she's walking the red carpet or driving the Vegas strip, fans simply can't get enough of her.

Danica has appeared in numerous commercials, a Jay–Z music video, an episode of CSI:NY – she even played herself in an episode of The Simpsons. She's been featured in dozens of Sports Illustrated articles, pictured on the cover twice – she's even appeared in the legendary swimsuit edition twice.

Some of her most memorable TV appearances are in Go Daddy commercials. Patrick has appeared in 23 Go Daddy commercials in all, including 12 popular Super Bowl spots.

Danica Patrick, Go Daddy Girl and one of the most-recognized women athletes in the world, teamed up with Go Daddy in late 2006. Four months after the diminutive racecar driver became the first woman to lead an Indy 500® race, Go Daddy signed on as a sponsor.

Seven years later, Danica is considered one of the most successful women in the history of American open-wheel racing. She also holds the record for celebrity appearances in Super Bowl ads, with 2013's "Perfect Match" and "Your Big Idea" making the 11th and 12th Danica Patrick Go Daddy Commercials.

On the track, Danica has broken almost too many records to count. In addition to being the only woman to ever lead the Indianapolis 500®, she's the only woman driver to win an IndyCar® race. She finished the 2009 season in 3rd place – the highest IndyCar finish ever for a woman driver. And she currently holds the Indy Racing League® record for most consecutive races running at the finish.

Never one to rest on her laurels, Danica debuted in the NASCAR® Nationwide Series in 2010. In her first year of full-time NASCAR driving, she became the second woman to lead a NASCAR race at Talladega and the third woman to compete in a Sprint Cup Series race at Darlington. She finished 10th in the 2012 Nationwide Series, the highest finish ever for a woman driver.

The 2013 NASCAR season opens just two weeks after the 2013 Danica Patrick Go Daddy Commercial aired, generating 8.5 million views on YouTube® and 425,000 Twitter® mentions. NASCAR's Most Popular Driver will be a Sprint Cup Series rookie in 2013, driving under GoDaddy.com colors for Stewart–Haas Racing.

"Races are really long at the Sprint Cup Series level," Danica remarks. "That's just something I have to adapt to in the Sprint Cup." This year Danica Patrick, Go Daddy Girl and still rising star, says she'll forgo the Indy 500 so she can focus on the 2013 Cup race.
