Born: Milwaukee, WI
Residence: Los Angeles, CA Current favorite music: 60s Website: candicemichelle.com Candice made her debut on World Wrestling Entertainment's RAW® in 2004. But it took Go Daddy's 2005 Super Bowl® commercial--a parody of Janet Jackson's 2004 "wardrobe malfunction"-to catapult her to national fame. That first TV ad aired February 6, 2005. It was so controversial that Fox pulled the commercial, refusing to broadcast it again. Fox's move caused quite a stir, making Go Daddy's 2005 Super Bowl commercial one of the most watched Super Bowl commercials in history. Candice, who has since become the reigning queen of Go Daddy TV, was also featured on the April 2006 cover of Playboy magazine. $12.99*/yr

The first Go Daddy girl, Candice Michelle teamed up
with Go Daddy in 2005. Already a regular on World Wrestling Entertainment's RAW®,
Candice's career took off with the airing of the now- legendary 2005 Super Bowl
commercial.
The ad shows Candice Michelle testifying before a Broadcast Censorship Hearing about why her commercial should be allowed to play during the Super Bowl. During her testimony, her Go Daddy tank top strap breaks, exposing the entire assembly to Go Daddy's version of a wardrobe malfunction. The FOX® TV network actually aired the commercial once on game day then pulled it, saying it wasn't "appropriate." The ensuing controversy resulted in an unprecedented 51.14 percent "Share of Voice," according to multivision, inc., a company that measures advertising buzz. After the airing, Go Daddy's market share of new domain names increased from 16 to 25 percent, making it the largest registrar in the world. Many still consider the Fox-rejected ad to be the most effective commercial in Super Bowl history. Since then, Candice has appeared in more Go Daddy commercials than any other company spokesperson, washing windows and running across golf courses to the delight of viewers everywhere. Most recently, Candice was featured in the Go Daddy White Light ad, one of the two ads approved for airing during the 2008 Super Bowl. In addition to regular appearances on the USA NETWORK's RAW®, Candice has appeared in the movies "Dodgeball," "Confessions of a Dangerous Mind," "High Crime," and "Tom Cats." Her TV appearances include "Monk," "Seventh Heaven," and "Party of Five." She's also appeared in music videos by John Mellencamp and Brownstone videos. |
