Anna Rawson. She's 5'10", gorgeous AND an accomplished athlete. Which makes her a perfect candidate for the
Go Daddy Girls™. So it should come as no surprise that the LPGA golfer signed on as an official spokesperson for GoDaddy.com in March of 2009.
Since then, the Australian stunner has been popping up everywhere – at movie premieres, on the catwalk at L.A. Fashion Week wearing David Alexander frocks, even eating Korean Kim chi tacos at L.A.'s Alibi Room. Oh yeah, and on the golf course, too.
Now Anna makes her television debut in "Genie," Go Daddy's newest TV commercial. Shot at the Grayhawk Golf Club near Go Daddy headquarters in Scottsdale, AZ, the ad features Anna and Go Daddy CEO Bob Parsons in an I-dream-of-genie-style spoof.
In the ad Anna plays herself, with Phoenix actress Brenna Sakas posing as Anna's golf partner. After the two wander into a bunker, find a bottle and (who can resist?) dust it off, Bob Parsons appears as a wish-granting genie.
Anna's first wish is for the "world's longest drive," which results in her driving a ball into outer space. To see her last two wishes, viewers must go to the domain giant's Web site to watch the Internet-only version.
Filmed the day after Anna shot 68 in the U.S. Open qualifier, the commercial kept Anna busy for 14 straight hours. Between takes she did interviews with Scottsdale TV and radio stations. "I was so excited and nervous all at the same time," she says of her first Go Daddy ad.
"This will still be edgy, but less edgy than our typical commercial," says Parsons, who appears in the video wearing orange satin pants and a turban.
Although not the first commercial for Go Daddy, "Genie" is the first to be shot in Scottsdale, AZ. The Company plans to air "Genie" in June during the PGA tournament.

When she's not shooting commercials or sashaying down a runway, Anna relies on swing coach Dana Dahlquist and sports psychologist Bob Rotella to keep her on track. She's scored Top Ten finishes in the U.S., Asia, Europe and Australia. In addition to golfing and modeling, she writes her own syndicated golf column.
