Anna Rawson has style. The new member of the
Go Daddy Girls™ has modeled for Chanel and Escada and appeared in numerous fashion magazines. She also advised Swedish designer J. Lindeberg on a new line of women’s golf clothing.
"I loved doing it," Anna says of her first experience with clothing design. "Got to read fashion magazines all day and watch catwalk shows and just try to figure out, ‘Oh! We could put that on a golf skirt, or, that would look good.’ Just trying to keep with current trends."
When asked how men typically respond to her on the golf course, Anna says, "For the first three or four holes they don’t trust that I can actually play golf." Eventually they figure out she’s the real deal, she says.
Anna’s passion for modeling is shared by another Go Daddy Girl: IndyCar® Series Star
Danica Patrick. "I'm not tall enough to be a model, but I wish I was 6-foot, because I love it," said the petite driver after her first appearance in Sports Illustrated’s Swimsuit edition. "It’s kind of artsy, and I’m artsy. And I love clothes."
How does the 27-year-old find time for both careers? "I do shoots in the afternoon," she says, "I golf in the morning." Of her fashion choices on the golf course she says, "My style is constantly changing. I just kind of try and find looks that I would wear regularly and coordinate them into golf clothing."
Still single, Anna says she never dates golfers, athletes or actors. "They have demanding jobs, and I have a demanding job," she explains "so it's difficult to do that."
Although Anna has yet to meet
Candice Michelle, the original
Go Daddy Girl, maybe one day she’ll explain to Candice how to avoid those pesky sprinklers on the greens.
