Mario Andretti is considered by many to be the greatest race car driver in the history of the sport. During his remarkable five-decade career, he earned 111 victories and 109 pole
positions in virtually every form of racing. Today, he is still the only man to have won the Indianapolis 500, the Daytona 500, and the Formula One World Championship.
The patriarch of the Andretti family has since passed the torch to his son, Michael, and grandson, Marco.
- Won the Indy Car National Championship four times, the Dirt Track Championship, the IROC title, and was a three-time winner at the 12 Hours of Sebring.

Michael Andretti is a happy guy and why not?
The Chairman, President, and CEO of Andretti Autosport led his team to the 2012 IndyCar® Series championship.
Under Michael's leadership, Andretti Autosport has over 40 team IndyCar® victories, including multiple IZOD IndyCar Series championships, Firestone Indy Lights® titles, and Indianapolis 500® wins.
Son of racing legend Mario Andretti, Michael spent 23 years behind the wheel himself before becoming a team owner. His 42 wins – including the 1991 CART PPG Indy Car World Series championship – make him the most successful driver in CART history.
In addition to being a team owner, Michael is also active in race promotion. He saved the Milwaukee Mile in 2012 by rebranding it the Milwaukee IndyFest, complete with a street festival in the infield.
He did the same with the 2012 Grand Prix of Baltimore, which attracted 131,000 people and generated $42 million for the city. Ryan Hunter–Reay's victory on a rainy race day was the icing on the cake.

Marco Andretti battled through his sixth IZOD IndyCar® season to finish with three top–10 finishes and one top–five finish.
Son of Michael and grandson of the legendary Mario,
Marco ended the 2011 season ranked 8th in the IZOD IndyCar Series standings after winning his second career IZOD IndyCar Series race at Iowa.
In only six years of racing, Marco has:
- Started in three premier series for Andretti Autosport (IndyCar Series, ALMS, and A1GP).
- Received the 2007 Athlete of the Year award from the National Italian American Sports Hall of Fame.
- Placed 2nd at the 90th running of the Indianapolis 500® in 2006, thrilling the audience with the second–closest finish in the race's history.
- Earned the 2006 Chase Rookie of the Year and IndyCar Series Bombardier Rookie of the Year awards.
- Been named the youngest winner of a major open-wheel racing event in history (at the time) for his win at Infineon Raceway. He was 19.
Andretti will again join James Hinchcliffe and 2012 Series Champion Ryan Hunter-Reay on the Andretti Autosport IndyCar team in 2013. Andretti will be driving the #25 Chevy after six seasons in #26.
